As Ontario re-opens, the holiday season of 2021 will have social events to celebrate this year. Christmas will be upon us before we know it. Annual light festivals near you or worth the drive have long been a tradition of the season. This year will be no different. If you’re lucky, it’s a winter wonderland, making the twinkling colourful lights sure to put the Christmas spirit into any Scrooge or Grinch. 

‘To Do’ List: Magical Light Shows In Ontario

With health and safety in mind, many large outdoor light events will be happening in 2021. This year there will be lots of drive and walk-thru displays, with music, Santa and the whole nine yards. Kids, adults of any age, can will make special memories this year seeing these beautiful holiday decoration displays. 

Make it a SPECIAL HOLIDAY SEASON

Outdoor light festivals, tree lightings and creative new walking and drive-thru experiences will be lighting up the holiday season all over Ontario. Demand will be high so buy your tickets and book your times early.

OPG Winter Festival of Lights

Winter Wonder at Royal Botanical Gardens
Where: Burlington

trusty elves have created ‘Winter Wonders’, featuring twinkling displays along an outdoor pathway at Hendrie Park. It’s open Wednesday to Sunday until January 3rd for a light show extravaganza. Each stop on the 1.5km route has a challenge and a bit of magic for young and old. Gingerbread and hot chocolate awaits and for those craving more, the Greenhouse Café has a delicious prix fixe dinner, where reservations are a must.

Festival of Lights

This year’s Festival of Lights is a driving event to enjoy the holiday magic in Belleville and the Downtown District from the comfort and safety of your vehicle. Pick up some hot chocolate and take a leisurely drive along the festival route to experience 5KM of holiday cheer with lighting displays and holiday music.

Bluffs Winter Wonderland drive-thru experience will bring holiday cheer to all, as visitors will get a chance to have a meet & greet with Santa.Drive along a 1KM decorated path inside the Bluffer’s Park west parking lot (1 Brimley Road South, Toronto), and you will wind through and around the base of the Scarborough Bluffs and will pass by Reindeer Way, Snowman City, The Enchanted Forest and end at Santa’s House.
