Join Lisa Harpell – known to the Wye Marsh Art Critters as ‘Sunshine’ to celebrate the beauty found in nature, discover your artistic talents, and develop your skills! Participants will be inspired by Wye Marsh’s natural setting to create wonderful works of art. 

Watercolour Painting

Celebrate Spring. Be inspired by the blossoms and new life all around us at Wye Marsh. Dive into vibrant colours and tap into the rhythms of nature with Lisa Harpell’s Introduction to Watercolours. Learn basic techniques, and a few tips and tricks, that spark your creativity. No matter your level of skill, you are welcome to share an afternoon of discovery with Lisa. 

Ideas and compositions will be relevant to artists. All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you would like. You need only bring your enthusiasm!

Hand Printmaking

This is an introductory class to hand print-making techniques. Mimic rhythmic patterns, found in nature, to create wonderful dynamic prints under the tutelage of Lisa Harpell. Materials provided.

Fluid Acrylics

Find out why so many artists love working in acrylics! These wonderfully mixable, movable, fast-drying paints are ideal for creative experiments inspired by nature. Join Lisa Harpell for this introductory session. All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary.

Making & Playing with Creative Moulds!

Create funky paper weights for your home, or stepping stones for the garden. Learn mould-making basics with Lisa Harpell, and the possibilities are endless!
