With a good pair of snowshoes, you can enjoy the white trees, the soft landscape, and all the fun of playing in the snow. Snow Valley offers easily accessible trails for beginners and challenging trails for the more adventurous! There is something for everybody in snowshoeing.
Snow Valley welcomes you to bring your dog. Dogs must remain leashed at all times and please rememeber to stoop & scoop! Outdoor washrooms facilities are currently available.
After your snowshoe you can warm up by a bonfire and enjoy warm beverage and some delicious donuts from the Snow Nut Hut.
Interpretive Trail
Whether it is for a family outing, getting back to nature or a school activity, snowshoeing at Snow Valley will be a success for everybody. Now 17km of trails! Our interpretive snowshoeing trail combines the orange and green trails to create a 1.6 km long self-guided trail. This trail will guide you through two different types of forests, visiting 8 different locations to discuss some unique facts about the wetlands, wildlife, streams and history here at Snow Valley. Throughout this trail, you will find cedar posts with pictures that correspond to an available trail guide.
