Join the fun in the beautiful Lake Huron community of Saugeen Shores, Ontario for the Canadian Big Band Celebration (CBBC) running September 14-17, 2023!
The CBBC was established in 1995 and is an annual festival celebrating the popular music once performed in the Great Lakes Dance Pavilions of the 1920-80s as well as newer-aged jazz and blues. Come for the whole weekend or for the event(s) of your choosing, featuring some of the best that Canada has to offer!
Kick the celebration off with a very special heritage showcase that turns the clocks back to August 1, 1935 when sweethearts were re-joined by their loved ones after WW1, the night Guy Lombardo & The Royal Canadians came to town!
Friday Night is the Jazz & Blues event presenting some of Canada’s greatest artists! Your passport ticket grants admission to seven different venues with seven different acts AND transportation to the show(s) on a shuttle bus!
Saturday features our “Big Dance Events” both in the afternoon and evening. The afternoon features Lulu’s Band who will have you dancing away to the Beatles, Santana, Paul Simon, Chicago, and many more fantastic artists. The evening will feature the Canadian Big Band who will sweep you off your feet with the timeless elegance of the golden years of big band music such as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Michael Bublé, and Lady Gaga.
The weekend ends with a celebratory jazz brunch on Sunday!
