The Christmas Bird Count for Kids is a fun winter birdwatching event for kids and families. Join us to learn about birds, connect with young naturalists, and become a Citizen Scientist!

CBC4Kids at Wye Marsh:

Where: Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre
When: Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 10:00am – 12:00pm.
How much: Children (under 16) are free to participate in the CBC4Kids. Accompanying adults are regular admission.
Who: Birders of of any ability.

Event Schedule:

10:00am: Intro to Birding Presentation
10:30am: Jr. Birder Guided Hikes, grouped aged 4-9 and ages 10-16.
11:15am – 12:30pm: Bannock Roasting
1:00: Birds of Prey Demonstration

Pre-registration is NOT required! Just arrive at Wye Marsh roughly 15 minutes prior to the start of the presentation.

Accompanying adults are required to show proof of vaccination as this event takes place partially indoors. Participants are asked to respect social distancing and/ or wear a mask during the event.
