Take your hike to new heights with a feathered friend from Royal Canadian Falconry. Join a licensed falconer for a relaxing “Hawk Walk” through the woods at Haliburton Forest. Your falconer will guide you as you learn about birds of prey with a majestic bird soaring along overhead. Birds of prey are the ‘wolves of the sky,’ and you’ll see why when they accept you as one of the flock! *Note- there is no handling of the birds in this program. This program runs approx. 45 minutes along a moderate forest trail.
Available at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm and 1 pm on Saturdays End of April until End of September and both Saturdays and Sundays in July and August.
Advanced registration required. $260 plus tax per group. Hawk walks are private to one family/group of up to 6 guests per session.
