The Siberian huskies of Haliburton Forest love meeting new people and making friends. They also enjoy going out for harnessed hikes, sniffing the trees, rolling in the grass and working on their directional commands.
What better way to enjoy the summer than to combine the two for a husky hike!
Guided by one of the kennel staff, hike with one of Haliburton Forest’s furry friends to MacDonald Lake. There you’ll have the opportunity to cool off, go for a swim, and enjoy an optional packed lunch from The Cookhouse.
Husky Hikes depart at 11:30 AM and are approximately 2.5 hours long. Advanced reservations are required and can be made online, over the phone or in person.
