Snowmobiling in Ottawa Valley

ToDoOntario - Ottawa Valley Travel, snowmobiling

The Ottawa Valley offers snowmobile enthusiasts over 2,550km/1,580mi of groomed Trans Ontario Provincial (TOP) trails and local trails that wind through picturesque rural villages, along abandoned rail beds, past old mine sites and ghost towns. All accessible by the a blanket of snow that covers the land come mid-January.

Each February, the town of Eganville hosts The Bonnechere Cup – part of the Eastern Pro Tour oval snowmobile races. For the past 44 years, some of North America’s best snowmobile racers – like Villeneuve, Wahl, Vessair and Lee – have descended upon Eganville for a weekend of professional speed and technical skill. The 2023 edition of The Bonnechere Cup will be held February 4th – 5th.

Regional clubhouses from around the Valley host community snowmobiling events all winter long.
