Encompassing wetlands and woodlands, Wye Marsh offers diverse habitat to many different birds and is a designated Important Birding Area.
The Wye Marsh has never before been open to the public before 9 am and as an exclusive opportunity is now available to be at the marsh and ‘up with birds’ at 6 am.
This experience includes a 20 minute presentation by the Wye Marsh’s resident and expert bird watcher.
In this two-three hour experience you will spend part of your early morning at the Wye Marsh and then head to Midland for a hot breakfast.
Attendees of this event will be put into groups of 5 for the programming/educational portion. Learn about Ontario native birds, or learn more about birds and talk all things birds with like minded birders in this exclusive event.
