We’ll learn to distinguish the easier to identify mushrooms for beginners and if we’re lucky some less common mushrooms like the lobster fungi. We’ll also identify wild herbs for health and longevity. Included is my handout on “10 Rules for Beginners”. After a leisurely guided walk through the woods we’ll return to Windfall Food Forest to learn how to prepare our bounty. We’ll learn a couple of invaluable preparation and storage techniques. We’ll eat on the covered porch overlooking lovely Bat Lake.
