SCENIC CAVES NORDIC CENTRE
Set within one of Canada’s eighteen UNESCO biosphere reserves, lies Scenic Caves Nordic Centre – a spectacular winter playground. With our unique mountaintop location, the Nordic Centre is nestled in 370 unspoiled acres of the Niagara Escarpment. The location provides the perfect elevation for reliable snow conditions and consistent temperatures, all season long. Glide along our 27km trail network by cross country ski, or hike by snowshoe on 12km of trails. On-site trails are professionally groomed and track set daily and include access to Southern Ontario’s longest Suspension Footbridge!
Many native species call our 200 year old forest home and await your arrival. A wide variety of birds including winter owls, deer, rabbits and other wildlife can be seen during any given winter visit.
It is encouraged that everyone review the covid operating policy and guidelines, and continue following public health guidelines to protect yourself and those around you.
Reservations are not available. Day tickets and rentals can only be purchased on-site at Scenic Caves on a first come first serve basis. Mid-week and early entrance is advised.
