Join us for a comprehensive overview of identification and conservation around Central Ontario’s exciting raptor species. During this workshop, aided by some of our own ambassador raptors, we will review not only the typical field guide identifiers, but also how to identifying probable habitat and behavioural tendencies that complete the information required to confidently find and identify winter raptors in and around Simcoe County.
Topics will include:
- Conservation tips and status
- Migration tendencies
- How to attract raptors to your property
- Photography tips
This workshop will be held indoors, combining some hands on experience with our live captive raptors with a presentation that will focus on key species identifiers. No experience required. All nature enthusiasts over 12 years of age welcome.

Price includes admission to our interpretive centre and trails following the workshop.
This workshop takes place indoors. Per Province of Ontario’s mandate, participates must provide proof of vaccination to attend.
